Miramos las flores por dentro / We look at the inside of the flowers
[Eng] Students in Year 4 have started their new project on biological sciences. Students started by learning the different parts of plant in Spanish and this week they worked on the parts of a flower. Students observed the cross section of a flower and drew it trying to identify as many parts as they could. Finally, we discussed the names of the different parts of the flower and their role in pollination, learning more words to identify plants in Spanish.
[Sp] Los alumnos de 4to año han comenzado su nuevo proyecto de ciencias biológicas. Los alumnos han comenzado a aprender las diferentes partes de la planta en español y esta semana han trabajado sobre las partes de una flor. Los alumnos observaron un corte transversal de una flor y dibujaron tratando de identificar la mayor cantidad de partes posible. Finalmente, hemos hablado acerca de los nombres de las diferentes partes de la flor y su rol en la polinización, aprendiendo más palabras para identificar a las plantas en español.
