Los sólidos / Solids
Students in Year 5 are observing the different properties of solids. They explained what different objects' characteristics are by exploring with them. While doing this, they learnt new adjectives to describe things in Spanish and noticed that some words in Spanish are almost the same English. (They are cognates!)
Los alumnos de 5to año están observando las diferentes propiedades de los sólidos. Explicaron cuáles son las caracteristicas de diferentes objetos mientras los exploraban. Al hacer esto, aprendieron nuevos adjetivos para describir cosas en español y notaron que algunas palabras en español son muy similares en inglés. (¡Son cognados!)
