¡Ser o no ser, ésa es la cuestión!

Year 5&6 students are working on la voz (voice). They are focusing on articulación, proyección y exageración.

Students watched a video by the Royal Shakespeare Company featuring actors (Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, Benedict Cumberbatch, David Tennant, Tim Minchin and Prince Charles) delivering the famous Hamlet line ‘To be or not to be, that is the question’ in a number of different ways. They then performed the phrase in Spanish: ¡Ser o no ser, ésa es la cuestión!

It was a great way to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.
