¿Se disuelve mas rápido o más lento?/ Does it dissolve faster or slower?
[Eng] Students in Year 6 are learning about physical and chemical reactions. This time they worked on the rate at which those reactions can take place and the factors that may affect them. Students worked with fizzy tablets and predicted at what temperature they thought these will dissolve first. Then, they observed and timed how long it takes for each tablet to dissolve in water at hot, cold and room temperature. Finally, they presented their observations in a graph and draw a conclusion. This helped them revise the numbers and the phrases we use to compare in Spanish.
[Sp] Los alumnos de 6to año están aprendiendo acerca de las reacciones físicas y químicas. En esta ocasión, trabajaron sobre el tiempo de las reacciones y los factores que podrían afectarlas. Los alumnos trabajaron con pastillas efervescentes y predijeron a qué temperatura creen que se disuelven. Luego, observaron y tomaron el tiempo en el que cada pastilla se disuelve en agua caliente, fría y a temperatura ambiente. Finalmente, presentaron sus observaciones en un gráfico y llegaron a una conclusión. Esto los ayudó a repasar los números y las frases para comparar en español.
