Mandala CDs

Grade 6s have started a new project recycling old CDs to turn them into beautiful mandalas inspired by the arabesque designs of South Spain. First students traced their CDs onto paper and desgined their mandalas. Then we polished the CDs using masking tape and sand paper. After that we traced the designs onto the CDs using a special paint. Next week we are going to paint our CDs with glass paint. Can't wait to see how they turn out!!
