Dibujando retratos

Students in grade 2 have been learning about drawing retratos (portraits). During the first lesson we learnt some general tips to get the proportions right... always a tricky one!
1. Los ojos están en la mitad de la cara.
The eyes are in the middle of the face.
2. Las orejas empiezan donde están los ojos y acaban donde acaba la nariz.
The ears start where the eyes are and finish where the nose finishes.
3. El cuello es casi tan ancho como la cara.
The neck is almost as wide as the face.
At the end of the lesson we put all of our portraits together and reflected on our work. Next week we are going to keep learning about portraits...
