[Eng] This week grades 1 and 2 have made a fish using the different kinds of lines we explored last week and other interesting patterns. All students started by tracing their shoe and then turned this shape into a pez (fish) by adding aletas (fins), cola (tail), escamas (scales), ojos (eyes), boca (mouth) and branquias (gills).

Then we had a look at some photos of fish with beautiful patterns and added interesting lines in our drawings using oil pastels. We then copied one of the patterns onto the background and gave it a wash of food dye, which resists the oil pastels. Have a look at some of our drawings!
