Exquisite corpses

[Eng] Grade 3 and 4 students have made weird creatures using the technique of the exquistie corpse. This technique was invented by the surrealists in France and it's a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Students added body parts for their creatures in sequence, the first person drawing la cabeza (head), the second el cuerpo (body) and the third adding las piernas (legs), and none of them were allowed to see what the previous person contributed. That's probably why the results were so weird... and so cool! After finishing our drawings we coloured them in using watercolour pencils. Then, we labelled all the body parts and wrote a short description of our creature. Check out some of the amazing work students produced!
