All students from grades 1 to 6 have been working on our classroom Spanish dictionaries. Students have illustrated an animal to represent a letter from the Spanish alphabet. To paint the animals we used watercolour pencils. We learnt how to colour around the outside and then use the brush to bring the paint in, creating interesting shades. Then we made a paper collage using coloured paper and we finally pasted our animals on these. We are going to use these drawings to make our classroom dictionaries, where we will write the new words we learn in the Spanish lessons. Check out the grades 5 and 6 animals exhibition at the entrance of the school. They look absolutely fantastic!!!!
