Palos de llúvia - Rainsticks
Continuing on the work students did last term in Spanish through Drama, students are making a rainstick inspired by the book "Big rain coming". Students have been loving the process of constructing the rainstick, following these steps:
1. Juntar dos tubos de papel con cinta adhesiva
Join two paper rolls with masking tape
2. Clavar unos cuantos clavos siguiendo una línia diagonal
Nail a few nails following a diagonal line
3. Cubrir uno de los extremos con cinta adhesiva
Cover one of the ends with masking tape
4. Poner pequeñas rocas o legumbres dentro del tubo
Put little rocks or seeds inside the tube
5. Cubrir el otro lado del tubo con cinta adhesiva
Cover the other end of the tube with masking tape
6. Cubrir todo el tubo con papel mâché
Cover all the tube with paper mâché
7. Pintar todo el cubo con pintura acrílica
Paint the tube with acrylic paint
8. Decorar el tubo con pintura acrílica
Decorate the tube with acrylic paint
